Invisalign is a convenient way for adults and teens to straighten their teeth, but can children get Invisalign? Yes! Our Straight Smile dentists are proud to introduce new Invisalign® First, orthodontic treatment designed especially for kids.
Invisalign orthodontic treatment for adults and teens uses clear custom made aligners to gently and gradually move teeth into their correct positions. It is the ideal orthodontic treatment option for people who are concerned about the way traditional metal braces look.
Invisalign® First is designed specifically to straighten little smiles.
As your child grows, so does their smile. Even if your child still has baby teeth, now might be the perfect time to begin orthodontic treatment. When your child is around the age of 6-10 years, orthodontists can spot issues that could benefit from early treatment. This early stage of orthodontic treatment is called Phase 1 treatment.
Phase 1 orthodontic treatment can help to:
- Prevent pre-existing bite issues from getting worse.
- Fix existing teeth straightening conditions.
- Improve the appearance of a growing child’s smile.
- Break oral habits such as thumb sucking or tongue thrusting.
- Make Phase 2 treatment shorter and easier.
Invisalign First aligners can be used for Phase 1 treatment, and can address a range of orthodontic issues, including crowding, spacing, and narrow dental arches.
Invisalign First aligners are removable. Making oral hygiene easier for growing children. Just remove the aligners, then brush and floss as usual.
Invisalign First is designed with your child's comfort in mind. Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign has no rubbing brackets or poking wires to cause discomfort.
Invisalign First treatment is designed for predictable results and a positive orthodontic treatment experience while addressing the specific needs of growing kids.
